Our latest addition, Natural Aricha, is a uniquely processed coffee sourced from the picturesque Yirgacheffe district nestled in southwestern Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone.
Processed at the renowned Aricha milling station, which is under the ownership of Cherab na Betesebu and his family, this coffee embodies the essence of the region. Farmers from the verdant surrounding countryside deliver their cherries to the mill, where they are processed meticulously.
With approximately 650 dedicated small producers contributing their harvest, every step of the journey is marked by attention to detail. From the initial inspection to the careful drying process on raised beds and the precise depulping stage, quality is paramount.
The end result is a remarkable coffee characterized by boldness, fruit-forward flavors, and a luxuriously heavy body.
Our roasters and staff tried various brew methods and our hands down favorite is the French press. A close runner-up is aeropress. View our French press recipe, our Aeropress recipe, and our brewing instructions to learn more.
Orders will be roasted and shipped on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Orders placed after 6:00 am will be roasted on next scheduled roast day.
